Install SocketCAN driver:
1. Check the ginkgo.ko and system information
Ginkgo.ko : lsmod ginkgo.ko
OS : uname –r

2. To run runme.sh to install ginkgo.ko and connect the viewtool’s can device:
View board information by dmesg:

CanX channel information:
[[Image:can0.png]] 
[[Image:can1.png]] 

3. Check CAN device:
Ifconfig -a

It means the socket can driver is working.

Use CAN utils to test send and dump data
1. Run command: make to compile the utils app.

2. Initialize device “CAN0”:
sudo ip link set can0 type can bitrate 500000

3. Active device “CAN0”:
sudo ip link set can0 up

4. Send data by CAN0
sudo ./cansend can0 155#998877665544332211

5. Batch send data:
sudo ./cansend_bat can0 10000 200
10000means send data 10000 times.
200 means interval between each package (unit:ms)。

6. Receive command by new terminal:
sudo ./candump can0
To receive data from CAN0 channel.
The data from Ginkgo USB-CAN extend:
